Miss Emma May Rambo and her
brother Mr. Sam Rambo, took their
three guests from South Georgia to
Atlanta Saturday and chaperoned
them to all points of interest. They
were especially pleased with the visit
to the State Capitol where so man v

estate business in Arcadia, Fla., o

says there has been a residence start

in Arcadia and the fruit crop looks

the west.

class of the First Baptist church
eld their usual social and business
meeting with Mrs. W. P. Whitaker
at her home on Gramln street Thurs
day afternoon, Aug. 13th. Those
present were: Mrs. Carl Medford,
Mrs. Benson, Mrs. Stuart Milan,
Misses Etta and Lizzie Cogburn, Bva
Campbell and ‘Annie Watson.
After the business was attended

sisting of grape sherbet with wafers.
After refreshments were served the
time was spent socially.T he next

Mr. Hill is assistant cashier of the
Merchants and Farmers Bank and is
one of Mariotta's most exemplary
young men.
Both have many friends and they
received various handsome and use
