B. Owensby, Will Latimer, J. M.
Cogburn, Clarence Moor, D A. Sum
merour, Frank King, L. M. MeCles
key and J. T. Brown shows:
That they desire for themselvces,
their associates and successors, to
be incorporated under the corporate
name and style of
OAKHURST LIGHTING COMPANY
for a full term of twenty years, with
the privilege of renewal at the
expiration thereof.
The prineipal place of business of
said corporation will be in 3aid
County of Cobb.
The capital stock of said corpor-
ation will be ONE THQUSAND
($1000.00) DOLLARS, divided in
to shares of TEN ($10.00) DOL
LARS each, but petitioners desire
tiie privilege of increasing the said
capital stock at any time upon a
vote of a majority of the stock
holders to any sum desired, not to
exceed Twenty Five Hundred
($2500.00) Doliars.
The principal pusiness to be en
gaged in by said corporation is the
building, equipping, owning, main
taining and operating an electric
power line from a point on the main
power line of the Georgia Railway
& Electric Company, near Mariet
ta, northward by Oakhurst, and to
other points north and and nortaz
east of Oakhurst in said county.
The object and purpose of same he
ing to furnish petitioners and oth
ers with lights for their homes and
motor power for their use in
and about their homes and
places of business, including tue
making of contracts with the Geor
gia Railway & Power Company for
electric power, the selling and dis
tributing of it to petitioners and
others.
Petitioners desire the privilege of
making contracts, acquiring proper
ties real and personal, adopting by
laws, electing officers, having and
using a common seal, suing and being
sued, and all the rigats anl privi
leges usually extended to cerpora
tions under the laws of Georgia.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray
that they be incorporated under the
name and style, and with the pow
ers and privileges aforesaid, for a
full term of twenty years, with the
right of renewal at the expiration
thereof.

used for the purpose of building and
equipping a scnool house in and for
said Smyrna School District.
Notice is hereby given that on
the 14th day of April, 1917, at 9
a’clock, A. M., at the Court House
in the City of Marietta, Ga., the
above cause, being a petition filed
by Herbert Clay, Solicitor General
of tne Blue Ridge Cireuit,
in the name and behalf of tne State
