Friday Morning, June 21st, 1918. News From Over The County. OLIVE SPRINGS. ’ Miss Meude Knight died at thel home of her father, on Monday night| June 10th, age 22 years. Is this a monster from Mars, or a soldier of modern warfare? It is only one of our “Sam mies,” going over the top with the gas and the fire which the Huns taught us in this barbar-. ous war. To go “over the top” takes courage and strength. Many a man and woman at home in peaceful pursuits would rather be on the fighting line in defense of liberty if they felt strong enough for such an ordeal. Tt takes good red blood to be courageous and brave in these days as well as in the olden times. " At the head of all blood purifiers is Dr. Pierce’s Golden Medical Discovery. But it’s different from all of them. All diseases originating from ‘a torpid liver cor impure blooé yield to it. Every parent wants their children to be accorded every right due them. The U. S. Govenrment has at last recognized the importance of taking care of the health of it’s child ren as well as of it‘s hogs. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Now listen to what the doctor says, yes, your own doctor, about ba bies, yes, about your own baby. We want you to ask your doctor, but we will tell you right now what he will say. “Take your child in and let us ex amine it. It will be weighed and its measure taken, and a record made of it. You will be given such advice and help as may be best for the child’s interests, and this without cost to you. Will you turn this offer down, or will you show yourself alive to your childs interests?” ‘That is what your doctor will say. If you neglect this you will be guilty of criminal negligence against your own child, Recording dates, June 25, 26, 27.
