THE AUGUSTA HEKAXD
The New Home of the
Irish American Bank
Tlic new home of the Irish-American Bank is one
of the prettiest and best: arranged bank and office
buildings of the city. It is in the heart of the bank and
business section of the city, of commodious size, with
well arranged office requirements which find a ready
demand for space. A list of the tenants of this build
ing shows that it is in demand and that it is filling a
need in the business life of the city. The location of
the Irish American Bank building in the center of the
Bank Square of Augusta is admirably selected for the
convenience of its customers and the general public.
THE GROWTH AND SUCCESS OF AUGUSTA’S
BANKS.
The remarkable growth and success of the Irish
American Bank is a splendid tribute to its officers and
Board of Directors, who stand very high in the estima
tion of the people of Augusts, ('apt. P. Armstrong, the
President of the Bank, has long been identified with
the solid, substantial business growth and develop
ment of Augusta, both in financial and other lines. Mr.
H. H. Stafford, the Vice-President, is at the head of
the Georgia-Carolina Brick Co., of which he has made
a great success', and is one of Augusta’s best business
men. Mr. J. P. Armstrong, the Cashier, has made a
splendid record as a business man and stands in the
front ranks of the younger successful business men ol
the city. He is connected with a number of the grow
ing and successful business institutions of the city.
Augusta is fortunate in Sts banking institutions,
which are well officered and conservatively managed,
as has been shown time and again. It is particularly
so ip the Irish American Bank, which has long since
demonstrated its worth and value to the city and which
has doue so much in recent years to help, and develop
the business interests of Augusta. Its record in this
respect is an enviable one, and shows that it has won a
place in this commmunity that means greater and big
ger things for the future. Tt is an assured fact that
the Irish American Bank will always hold a high place
in the business life of Augusta.
