to look for a new position today. Could you take the time necessary
to look about carefully for something worth while, or would you be

There is just'one way to meet it confidently and that is to bave a

COMMENTS ON CHURCH NEWS
OF THE DAY
It was a happy thought that In
spired some missionary priests of the
Society of the Divine Word to place
the results of their ethnological and
linguistic studies at the disposal of
all scholars, In what has since de
veloped into a journal of highest
merit, and of real international scope
and reputation. This is Anthropos—
International Review of Ethnology
and Linguistics; now completing its
third year, and edited by Rev. P. w
Schmidt, S. V. D. (Societas Verb! Di
vlnih Since its first appearance,
three years ago, it has considerably
enlarged its scope; being issued at
present six times a year, in hand
some octave form. It is published at
the famous Mechitaristen-press of
Vienna.
Anthropos is the only scientific re
view which receives contributions in
six languages—German, French, Eng
lish, Spanish, Italian and Latin. Al
most the entire series of articles has
been furnished by Catholic mission
aries. Franciscans, Lazarists, Capu
chins, Marists, Oblatos, Fathers of
the Divine Word, Jesuits, as well as
secular priests and members of the
S Order of White Fathers and of the
j Society of Foreign Missions, are
