PRESENT "HAUNTED CHAMBER."
The seventh grade girls of the Cen
tral school gave a very enjoyable play
entitled, "The Haunted Chamber" on
Friday afternoon and evening fur the
benefit of their library. They real
ised a very nice sum. Miss Georgia
Morris presided at the piano and Miss
Olive Tidwell took part in a eons.

Picture shows little Antonio Malfetti, who dis
appeared front his home on March fourteenth, and
whose body was found in the East river this week.
It is believed the hoy was the victim of black hand
kidnappers, and two hav e been arrested.

In the drawing room, where the
guests were received, the decorations
were of pink Kiiiarney and brides
maid roses, in great crystal bowls,
and in tall vases on mantel and low
stands.
Mrs. Clark wore a gown of apricot
colored liberty satin, embroidered in
the same shade and touches of gold.
Miss Phelan wore a gown of white
princess lace' over messallne satin,
the corsage finished with gold. Mrs.
Smith wore a gown of rose pink mes
saline satin, combined with white

bon-bons.
