loveliest weddings in the history of
Brookhaven was that on Wednesday
evening of Mr. R ff. Hanklnson, for

strung and arranged in festoons on

After the party had taken their
place amid the beautiful environment
of ferns and flowers, they brought the

entered upon the arm of her father,
and the groom, accompanied by Mr.
John McGee. After the wedding
march by Miss Ruth Hartman and
Miss Clara ltutlor. soft music contin
ued throughout the ceremony by

Little Marguerite Butler and Marie
McGrath were the pretty little flower

before the bride entered.
The bride wns beautifully attired
in a handsome lobe of band-made
lace and a bridal veil. Salome fash

lilies and orange blossoms, amid
which blazed a handsome sunburst of
diamonds, the gift of the groom. The
Rev. \Y. E Flfer very eloquently
spoke the rites, the wedding circlet
of gold making more effective the
vows so earnestly spoken.
After the ceremony at the church
the guests repuired to the Wentworth
residence where a reception was held.
When the bride’s cake was cut Miss
Ruth Hartman secured the ring.
The bride changed her wedding gown
for a traveling suit of champagne ra
jah silk with all accessories to mutch
and the happy young couple left Wed
nesday night for a trip to Gulf Port,
Cooper Wells und other points of in
terest.
They will reside in this city where
the popular groom Is prominently en
gaged in business and where the bride
is beloved by a large circle of friends
