Clap a feed basket over his head, and he will back anywhere you want him to go. By a little maneuvering you can have the hog in the wagon before he knows it. David Be la sen 844 Broad Street ffS For Your Hair Here Are Facts We Want You to Prove at Our Risk Marvelous as it may seem, Rexall "93” Hair Tonic has grown hair on heads that were once bald. Of course it is understood that in none of these cases were the hair roots dead nor had tlie scalp taken on a glazed, shiny appearance. When the roots of the hair are en tirely dead and the pores of the scalp are glazed over, we do not believe that anything can restore hair growth. When Rexall "93” Hair Tonic will do as above stated, it is not strange that we have such great faith in it and that we claim it will prevent baldness when used in time. It acts scientifically, destroying the germs which are usually responsible for baldness. It penetrates to the roots ■if the hair, stimulating and nourish ing them. It is a most pleasant toilet necessity, is delicately perfumed and will not gum nor permanently stain ihe hair. We want you to get a bottle of Rexall "93” Hair Tonic and use it as directed. If it does not relieve scalp irritation, remove dandruff, prevent Ihe hair from falling out and promote an increased growth of hair and in every way give entire satisfaction, simply come back and tell us and without question or formality we will hand back to you every penny you paid us for it. We lend our endorsement to liexali “93” Hair Tonic and sell it on this guarantee, because we believe it is the best hair tonic ever discovered. It comes in two sizes, prices 50 cents and SI.OO. Remember you can ob tain it only at our store, —The Rexall Store. Alexander Drug Co. SELLS-FLOTO SHU HE GOGS HERE Excellent Work of Per formers and Honesty of the Aggregation Made Good Impression. The performance of the Sells-Floto circus Thursday afternoon and night was an honest show, that by far eclipsed the performance of any cir cus that has previously been in Au gusta. It was not that the show was the largest that has ever been here, not that It was featured by sensation al “pass In the air”acts, but that it was an honest circus. The acts were high class and expensive, pulled off with a vim that pleased the audience. Every member of the circus seemed to enter into his, her, or its part, with as much anxiety to please as If It were the very first performance of the show. Nobody “Bilked." The first thing that impressed the patrons of the circus was the hon esty of the employes. Nobody was “bilked,” there were no *S%ort change artists, ind the attendants were courteous and very attentive to the patrons. On entering the me nagerie, the neatness and cleanliness of the animal cages was conspicuous. The animals themselves were all clean and well fed. The stock was well cared for, the horses solid and well groomed. To mention the number of high class acts in the circus and do them Justice would be Impossible. Every one who went to the performance came away well pleased, the criticism being “It was so clean and high class.” “The personnel of the per formers was so much above the aver age.” “It was full of ginger,” etc. The performers were nearly all young they took a personal interest in mak ing their act well received the cos tumes were clean and very well de signed, and not one did an act lag. Armour Prize Team. The stock of the circus was easily the prettiest and most valuable that has ever been to Augusta. The “Ar mour Prize Team,” composed of six heavy, dappled grey, draft horses, was a treat to the lover of horse flesh. Despite the fact that they are the heaviest horses In the world, they handle themselves like ponies. In the exhibition In the amphitheatre these great big horses that have the appearance of being clumsy, walked, trotted and galloped, and made short turns with the heavy wagon, with as much grace and ease as a "three year-old” could have done under sad dle. But the prettiest piece of horse flesh that has ever been seen in Au gusta was the beautiful Arabian, steed. The horse is perfectly white with some few tiny black spots. Be sides being beautiful, the horse is a very valuable one, being one of th 6 very few genuine Arabian horses in America. Nelson Family. The Nelson family, famous for thirty years as the feature attraction of as many circuses were as good as ever. Three generations of this family of acrobats take part in the act. They are out of the run of the oridnary circus performer, and pre sent an act that is clean, daring, ar tistic and high class. The Rhoda Royal, troupe of high school horses, was the neatest eques trian act ever seen in Augusta. The riders were neatly costumed, the horses beautifully matched, three blacks and three whites, and they were very well trained. ’ The Eliett sisters, in their great aerial butterfly act, were roundly applauded. The clowns, with all new tricks and funny make-ups, were a source of much amusement to both young and old. The trapeze acts, the work on the bars, the tight and slack wire walk ing was daring new and original. DonP forget the calves and ye tri.ngn. Don't leave them out In the cold • ights until they are pinched and haggard. There Is no surer cause of scours than dirty feed palls. Be scrupulously clean as to palls, troughs and the food used In feeding you-is calves. It will save the •rt cble oi carrying calves thro t»a. THE AUGUSTA HERALD WANTS SIOO FOR PART OF LEOPARD’S TAIL Circus Suing Express Com pany In Bibb County Superior Court. Special to The Herald. MACON. Ga.—What is the value of a leopard’s tall, or rather a three inch sec tion? In the case in question the owner puts a value of SIOO upon the three inches, hut tiie Southern Kxpvoss company iias Other ideas about the value and lias de clined to concur with the owner. The dispute has given ri*“ to an inter esting suit, died through Attorneys Ro land Kills and Gua Paly, in the superior court of Bihh county. The matter will come up before Judge William Felton next week, and then circus and show people will have an idea how to value tlfc tails of their prized animals. It seems that over n year ago Manager Rollins, of the Rollins shows, had a leop ard expressed to Macon from Augusta, and during the trip the tip of the ani mal's tail was injured so badly that an operation was advised after a complete diagnosis of the trouble. The operation was successful, but the animal emerged from the operating room with part of his tail gone. Mr. Rollins believes that the company is liable, and for that reason he has been willing to spend money in having the case prepared. The tail of a leopard Is one of the several points of beauty about animals of that species. The tails are generally long and spotted, and look like a guiding rud der stuck out in the wake of the beasts. The Rollins animal used to perform some funny stunts by the use of his tall, but since the injury he has been unable to go through with that part of the program. WEST END NOTES Mr. E. A.
