FARMER MISSING Cliff Harper Had One Hundred and Forty-Five Dollars cn Him When Last Heard of. ATHENS, Ga.—Cliff Harper, a young farmer, living nine miles from Athens came to this city last Thurs day, secured $145 that was due him for some cotton, and completely dis appeared. His relatives are very much alarmed, and although every ef fort has been made by the local au thorities to find him, they have been of no avail. Harper was in a sober condition, and as he was known not to be wor rying over anything, his relatives can not give any reason for his disap pearance. The fact that he had $145 on him, makes them doubly anxious, remembering how about three months ago, Verderau Kannon, a young farm er was murdered here, by two ne groes to secure $45 that he had on his person. The search for the young man will be kept up until something is heard of him. LEGAL NOTICES. Sheriff’s Sale. STATE OF GEORGIA, RICHMOND COUNTY.
