VOL. VII] THE^ifflLlKE PARKER. Hawkinsville, (4a., Aug. 20.— Judge T. A. Parker, of the Bruns¬ wick circuit, who held court here Inst week for Judge J. H. Martin, made a fine impression as a pre¬ siding officer, and in order to man¬ ifest its appreciation of his ser¬ vices, the Pulaski County Bar As¬ sociation passed the following resolutions: “Whereas, the judge of the Baunswick circuit, the Honorable T. A. Parker, has this week pre¬ sided in the Pulaski Superior Court for his honor, Judge J. If. Martin. “And whereas the bitr and other court officers of Pulaski county do not favor passing commendatory resolutions just as a matter of course, when a visiting judge pre¬ sides over our court, but whenever there comes from a neighboring circuit a judge, Whose conspicuous abilitv, whose ’utmost fairness, whose fine executive ability, whose uniform courtesy, and whose fine common sense stamp him as a reallv n * excellent PXC ; llent J iudge “3’ then ® thc coming . of such . a judge w to pre-i side over our court is a matter for | genuine congratulation on t,,„; part of the people of this county. “Therefore, be it resolved, That the bar and other court offi . j rers of Pulaski count v do heredv \ i record our appreciation of judg. ; Parker and his week labor among us; that when it becomes necessary in the future to secure the services of a visiting judge that Martm be requested to invite 1 Judge Parker to return; that we j in advance do hereby urge him to return: that we thank Judge Park er for his heavy weeks workt _> i Where Store Money Jesup riercantile Co’s.
