Merchants and Farmers Bank,
will learn with many regrets that
he has severed his connecretion
with that well know institution to
become Assistant Secretary and

otion of Mr. Price who merits bv
his qualifications such a respon¬
sible and renumerati ve position.
He left for his new homo this
morning, carrying with him the
best wishes of a host of sincere
friends. Mr. Price was succeeded
by Mrs. Fannie B. Heritage, wife
of Mr. H. L. Heritage the well
know Cashier of this Bank. Mrs
Heritage is one of the most cap¬
able young businesr women of
this section and the many patrons
of the Merchants and Farmers
Bank are delighted that she is
now to be one of the responsible
members of the force at this

several years a member of the
faculty of the Jesup High School
and severed her connection with
the school in spite of strong pro¬
testations of faculty and students.
The News welcomes Mrs. Her¬
itage to her new position and
wishes for her much success in
her new vocation.
