This term promises to be one ofthc m03t succes , ful terms the historv of the school. The en rollment is larger than it has ev¬ er bee i before. The number of members of the senior class is larger than ever before and we have a thoroughly competent c irps of teachers. Prof. Pearson as he has already proved by his work as Supt. of the school last term is with out a doubt, “The man for the place”. He is a well posted teacher a stfrn but kind Supt. andathorough upright and chritian gentleman. Miss Smith who is serving her third term asprinc pil of the School, is one of the best teachers in tbo state, and de3orvns much credit for her past work in tiir school. Miss L ttlc altlio’ this is he first year here, has had much ex¬ perience as a teacher and comes highly recommended. And we are sure that the place could md be better filled. Miss Pascal also comes very highlv reecommerded and is we’l known in Jesup and we feel that the school is very fortunate in securing her services. Miss Hatcher is serving her terra as a teacher-here, and her last, joar woHj is enough to .-peak for her. ' l «Mns King is one of the teachers in the state and is ser¬ ving her sixth year here. Her past work is a monument to hei as a teacher. Mrs. Mandeville who has charge of the first grade is unexcelled by anv one in teaching little children. The school is proud of her. Mr. Mandeville who has charge of the music department, has been vvith us a number of years, and needs no boosting. Miss Horton, Teacher of Ex¬ presses has already established herself in the minds of the people of Jesup as one of the best and that department under her guidance will have greater suc¬ cess than ever before.
