The general popularity of the Nor
mal institute lias occasioned a <le
maud for more houses than our town
is able to furnish. It is a matter tor
which out citizens should tnaka pre
visions. Our town ought to be able
to furnish good and comfortable hous
es to all who wish to come here to
patronize the school.
The laying ofnearone halfmile of
the railroad track at Morrison was
completed yesterdey. Woik on the
tresle will begin today. The Mispen
sion of work last week did not last
long; hands are now employed and
are at work stripping and taising ore.
Wo do not suppose it is yet definitely
acoertained as to how long it will be
before they commence shipping ore.

ing when we saw Mi. B. L # Wolf’s
cheerful conntence on our street that
we would be so soon called on to
chronia his death. But alas! he is
dead now and his body is resting be
neath the sod. Early yesterday morn
ing at his home, six miles below
Blakeiy, he rose trom the bed, and
went into the woods a short distance
from the house and shot himself
through the head, causing his death
in a few minutes. The rifle seemed
