The hands from the lumber mills of Weatherly & Son came in for a game of ball with the ‘Buchanan players. The game com meneced about 3 o'clock’and lasteds until nearsun set. The mill boy come out winner on the first run, but one' of Buchanan’s boys stamd ing back in the crowd told the mill boy he would like to try him one race, which was agreed upon at once; so in this run the mill boy got left. The boys, we understand, will run again next Satur day. Wateh out boys youw may get left next time. We don’t have any idea but what that fellow takes a fvemile ‘“heat’” up and down the railroad every day, getting himself in tune for the next race. A Serap of Paper Saves Her Life. !
