When she comes, he said, you let her in and take her to the re ception room Don’t eall my wife, but get Lena, and then both of you pitch in and give her a licken. They conducted her to the reception room, made sure that the description tallied, and then waded into the woman. She is the heroine of many fights with her husband and with other men, but the two German gir s were too heavy for her. She made a stiff fight in tho little room but emerg ed in five minutes with both eyes nearly closed and with innumera ble bruises on her arms and body. How the lawyer explained the matter to his wife is entirely a private matter. The girls could tell her nothing when she came down stairs and saw them throwing the visitor out, except ( hat it was done by order of the boss. FORBIDDEN Augusta, Ky.,Sept. 27. —Yester- day morning near Berlin, this county, Jasper Sharp shot and in stantly killed Mrs. George Mc- Clanahan The McClanahans were making molasses at their home when young Sharp came up and started a quar rel with, old man McClanahan. A fight followed, and Sharp pulled a pistol and began shooting. Mrs. McClanahan grabbed a corn knife and started toward Sharp, whereupon he turned his weapon on the woman,shooting berthrough the breast and killing her instant ly . After the shooting Sharp rode off and has not been captured. The trouble was caused by Mc- Clanahan forbidding Sharp to come and s a e his daughter. This is the second person Sharp has mur dered. A few years ago he shot and killed a man named McCarthy. Mrs. McClanahan was about 40 years old. Sharp is about 30. NOTICE.
