Three hundred tax fifas are already in the hand of the City Clerk, and, will be de livered to the Marshal next week for execution. But it is desired to avoid this method of collection if possible and save to the tax-payers any additional cost; therefore this urgent appeal is made for the prompt payment of taxes and wa ter rents. Its characters,— —the out-cas s m to whom, enduring the stings and punishment of a false accusa tion,opium furnishes the only re lease from sorrow ; the waif Nita, who shares her wretched father’s lot in the Yellowstone National Park ; the real culprit, upon whose charge and manufactured proof an innocent man suffers; tho blinded father who, upon presentation of this manufactured proof has driv en his innocent son from his home.
