No! a Murder At AU. Chicago, 11l , March 12.'—The bodies of the nuina.id infant found fn an alley last night at. Forty first and Indiana avenue, in a hor ribly mutilated condition, have been identified. There was no mur der, as was supposed, but the bod ies were dumped into the alley by a medical college to save the ex pense of burial . The man was Ed ward Joseph Cnmmings. 72 years old. He in the poor house. His body was boughtby the Hering Medical College. No. 2 College place, for dissecting purposes. The infant was the child of Mrs. John McDonald, wife of a painter. It is claimed that the infant was born deformed and lived only ten days, and that it was given to the I college in the interest of science.
