Anditi died suddenly yesterda while shaving a patron in a barber shop, in Brooklyn. Anditi had just lathered the customer’s face and was stropping the razor when he was seized with a fit and fel to the floor. A tailor, whore shop is next door, assisted the customer iu carrying Anditi to the yard for fresh air, but Anditi died a few minutes later. MIKE a CORRECTION The Grand Jury Sets J. P- Davis Right. Georgia Floyd County: The un dersiened desires to correct a wrong impression that has gone to the public with reference to Mr. John P. Davis the Ordinary df Flbyd County. In the present ments of the Grand Jury as pub lished and as read to the Court, there was a statement that Mr. Davis refused to turn over to the Grund Jury the books of'Mr. John J. Black, former Tax Collector. The facts are that M?. Davie told the committee that un'il a successor had been appointed or a legal representative of Mr. Black qualified, that he as Ordinary had no authority to turn over said books to any man or body of men, and for that re»son at that time the Grand Jury did not have access to these books. Subsequent ly and before the Grand Jury ad journed Mr. John I). Moore wh was a member of the Grand Jury was appointed Tux Collector aud qualified, and the books could have been obtained before the Jun adjourned but it was thought un necessary to do so as a special auditor had been reccommendec by the Grand Jury for the purposi of examining all the count) books. It was not the intention of th< Grand Jury to have this reference to the Ordinary read as a part of its presentments in this way or t< cast any reflection upon him asai officer, but through some adver taiice it went to the public, am this statement is ma ie to corrpe any wrong impression that may have been created thereby.
