Seab Wrigh', de ivered in the courthouse at this place yesternay, but we have heard a number of flattering cowmen's thereon fiom gentlemen present If we are cor rectly informed the drift of his speech was to show the importance of unity of politic il action among the people of the South and that tl e reforms demanded by the Alliance, or so much of them as were wise and just, could better be secured through the medium of the Demo cratic party than by resorting to the hazardous experiments of forming a third party. Mr. Wright is, as the people of this section well know, one of the most elo quent young orators in Georgia, and it is greatly to be hoped that his talents may be used to avert the impending breach in the ranks of the Democratic party. Wardlaw, of Atlant, is visiting the family of Mr. J. F. Wardlaw. Mr. J. F. Kimball, formerly an old citizen of Rome, but now of Newnan, is visiting friends here today. He will return to his home tomorrow.
