test, a project among College, Jr.
and Sr. High students closed this
week .with definite signs that new
sources of human interest are now
aware of what TB means to the
individual and the community.

Jr. High Schools.

voung about TB. The Scrap Books
are fascinating, show much stu
dent participation .and excellent
teacher guidance schools partici
pating were Haven Home, Woed
ville, Powell Laboratory, Antioch,
Springfield Terrace, West Savan
nah, Burroughs and Florence. On
April 24, 1946 teachers, students
and parents of East Broad and
Paulsen schools will meet at the
beautiful Melody Theatre for a
movie on TB and other health
problems. Moving pictures have
been shown to several schools, P.
T. A’s and arrangements are be
ing made for future showings
with other community groups. The
association is grateful to the pub
lic spirited leaders from the pub
lic schools, college and commun
ity for the valuable clerical volun
tary service being rendered. If
vou can spare a minute and have
clerical talent, please share it
with the association. Beach-Cuy
ler High School received a certi
ficate of award and honor for
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24; 1946
participation in The Columbia
Scholastic = Press = Project. The
Beach-Cuyler Gazette was among
the 74 awards representing 302
entries and 232 schoels, 32
states and the District of Col
umbia. ‘
