Carrier Boys
News
The Herald carrier boys make
up a live-wire- working team; and
enthusiasm ran high among them
last week. These boys come from
every section of the city; and all
are school boys. This force was
organized last week twenty-six

The Herald plans an interesting
PLAY for the carriers in the com-;

ings and camping at Bluffton, S.
C. are coming up this summer for,
all Herald carriers. There, we wills
engage in swimming, wrestling,
boxing, playing games and roam
ing through the countryside. Also,^
some prizes for the carriers -who!
sell the largest number of paper;,!
will be coming up soon.
Moses Calvin led the race to sell!
the largest number of papers on
the streets last week; with Lester
Hayes running second place and
Edward Polite bringing up the
rest of the gang with third place.
The other carriers are: Arthur;
Scott, Geo. Pinkney, Charle.l
Polite, Rudolph Holman, Clyde
Robinson, Lionel Stevens, Ken
nedy Calvin, Geo. Jackson, James
Dixon, James Lawton Freddie
Walker. Frank Fuller, John Dixon,
Alex Wilson ,Floyd Walker, Shel
ton Mitchell, Edward Lee, Jame-;

and Frank Williams.
