Shall I doubt my Father’s mercy?
Shall I think of death as doom;
Or the stepping O’er the threshold
To a bigger, brighter room?
Shall I blame my Father’s
wisdom?
Shall I sit enswathed in gloom,
When I know my love is happy
Waiting in another room?

Mrs. Sadie Lillian Chisholm
who departed this life
February 11, 1962
The month of February is here;
To us the saddest of the year,
For it was on the 11th day
Our darling loved one passed
away.
Silent is the voice we loved to
hear;
Your loving smile and cheerful
ways,
All the ways by which she brought
us,
All the sorrows that she bore,
All the patient love she taught us,
We will remember ever more.
