1 he third session of the school will commence
on the first Monday in November next, and con
tinue for months.
instruction will be given by recitations, by ex
aminations, and by oral lectures and expositions,
of which six in every week will be given to each
class.
A Afoot Court will sit twice in each week, at
which a cause, previously given out, will be ar
gued by the students, and an opinion delivered by
the presiding professor.
The students will also be exercised in the ure
paration of legal instruments and pleadings.
The students of the Law Department of the
University are, by a provision of its charier, cn
titled to attend the Lectures on Medical Jurispru
dence in the Med'Cal Department without charge.
A course of such lectures will be delivered to the
Law and Medical classes during the session.
A valuable library has been obtained, cf which
the students will have the use; as also access lo
the libraries of the Professors.
Students who shall have attended two fuli courses
of instruction in this University, or one in some
ether school and one in ibis, or have practised the
profession one rear, and attended one course of
ieciures here and have passed a satisfactory ex
amination, will be etuitied upon tiie recommenda
tion ot the Law Faculty.to the degree of Bachelor oi
Laws, which the University is authorized to con
fer.
The fee is S2O to each professor, and the raatri
tion fee $5.
Good board and lodging can be had in Louis
ville and its vicinity for from $3 to $3 50 per week.
