A gentleman in the south of Europe, and Pales
tine, 111 1830, heard so much said in the latter place
in favor ol JEW L>A VID 8 PLASTER, and ol the
(as he considered) miraculous cures it had per
formed, that he was induced to try it on his own
person, for a Lung and Liver Affection, the re
moval of which had been the chief object of his
journey, but which had resisted the genial and de
licious clime.
He accordingly applied a plaster on the right
side of his chest where the pain was seated, an
other between the shoulders, and one over the re
giou of the liver. In the mean time he drank Irec
-1) cl an herb tea of laxative qualities. He soon
found his health improving, and in a few weeks his
cough left him ; the sallowness of his skin disap
peared, his pain was removed, and bis health be
came permanently reinstated.
The following is from Mr. Worsted, editor of the
Massillon Gazette, Ohio.
“ Gentlemen —During last winter and spring. 1
was so troubled with a pain in my breast as to ren
der me unlit for the duties of my office . and hear
ing your Jew David's, or Hebrew Piaster highly
recommended for similar cases, I was induced to
give it a trial. I had worn a plaster upon my
breast but a short time, when all pain left me, and
I was enabled again to engage in the labors of the
office. I would also state, that my sister, residing
II Steubenville in this Stale, has received much
benefit from its use.
Yours, truiy, JNO. P. VVORBTELI,.”
Massillon, November 13. 1813.
