CHOLERA PREVENTED. A MEDICINE for all complaints of the lllood, . Nervous attacks, or Bilious AlVections. Invalids Head!—Among the remedies of the day. What niedu me is the best ? Tins question has been an swered by the unsolicited testimonials of more titan TWO RUTSDRfID THOUSAND PERSONS ! who have been restored to health and itsefutlnesK by the use of BRISTOL’S SARSAPARILLA ! It cures because it removes the acrid humors from the body, and In purifying the idoud makes the system im pervious to disease. THE CHOLERA need produce no fear to those who make a free use of Bristol’s Sarsaparilla. Pure Mood is a powerful bulwark against the encroachments of disease, and the pesti lence which is again spreading throughout cmr land, may be in a great degree avoided, by Using Bristol’s Sarsapa rilla. Dysentery, Castivtnejs, Summer Complaints, Cholic, Ship fever, Pams in Ike Back, Side end Head, Canker, I:Un - rated Throat, Bronchitis, Canker of On Stomach, Eerer and Ague, Bilious Eerer, Typhus, and all other Fri ers, j Small Pol, Measles, Scarlet Ecvers, Bheamahsm, Cuta- i neons Eruptions, Erysipelas, IJcer Complaint, Juan.lice, Coughs, Colds and Consumption. These complaints are a I occasioned by impure blood, and are permanently curetl by the use of Bristol’s Sarsa panda. “THE BLOOD IS THE LIFE.” Take the language of Scripture, and the language of j reason. Prom the Mood is built up. particle by particle, i the entire human body. Us bones and muscles and del . icate tissues are all the results of the gradual deposits ot ; minute particles, which are taken up by the various or j gans througlio'it the system. As the wood of the tree I grows, year by year, from the deposite of ligneous sub ; stances from the sap which circulates through its cnpil- j lary vessels, so does the organised living human body \ grow, ami supply its natural waste from the materials J supplied by the blood alone; for the blood contains all ' materials necessary to the reparation and growth of the organs. As it is the only means by which the great function of nutrition is accomplished, so also is this inifiortant vital fluid the source of all the humors of the body. The saliva, tears, bile, urine, perspiration and all other so cid ions, are taken from tire blood. How indispensable Ais it that this FOUNTAIN OF LIFE he in a pare in the p is the greatest purifier oflheb'ood sanctui;y lo t |, e Materia Siedira. U r ‘" Invalids, Remeinlier—That Bristol’s is the only pure extract of Sarsaparilla prepared in this country, one hoi tie of which is worth ten of the kind offered by many unprincipled quacks throughout the United Elates. The case of James Wyckolf has no equal, it stands out alone! Bristol’s Sarsaparilla has achieved, in this cure, a reputation and a fame that can never lie won by any other medicine. A synopsis of the case, and a quotation extracted from the most influential and respectable press, is all that can be given in this sheet. The history of the young man has been printed, and is in the hands of agents. If, in the days of the Apostles, among the many who sought miraculous relief at their hands, there had been brought to them the remnant of a human being, deaf, ■mb and partially blind, with both legs and one arm eaten off by ulceration, his ears, his nose, and pa ate too. eutap etely destroyed by the ravages of the terrible 1 disease, whose work of destruction was surely and ■ swiftly going on—would it not have been deemed a .tanking illustration of miraculous power hail the cruel | malady been at once stayed—its horrible ulcerations at t once healed—and the mutilated body of the sufferer re- I Ueved from racking pain, his appetite restored—his steep j again rendered sound and refreshing—.his flesh, spirits, '■ animation once more returned—in short, a complete i restoration to general health effected. Such would unleed have been deemed a miracle—yet such a wonderful work has been wrought by Bristol’s Sarsaparilla! James Wyckoff, now 23 years of age, and the son of Told Wyckoff, a fanner of Clarence, Erie Co., New %’ork, is the living monument of litis most wonderful j cure. When five years old, being attacked by mea'jps, he had a preparation of mercury administered to him, and for eleven years of wasting pain, and frightful mu tilation, were us pernicious effects at work. Awful bo youd description w ere the sufferings of that poor hoy during the interval, as detailed in an interesting history of his extraordinary cure, published in 1846, for his ben efit. and which can be bad irom Bristol’s agents. Six year* have now elapsed since this modern tainrle was performed, and the person yet lives to testify though mutely, yet most eloquently—to the curative pro perties of Bristol's Sarsaparilla. CASE OF LNFL.AMATORV RHEUMATISM. Hietvoed, Coxa,, Sept 09,1642. This may certify that I have been a subject of Inflam matory Rheumatism for the last eighteen years, and often confined to my lied for four or six weeks by each attack. I have tried every possible remedy that the most ce'ebraled of the New York medicinal faculty could prescribe, besides any quantity of quack medi cines, but did not obtain permanent relief. Soon after resuming my residence in Hartford, I had the Bnwt severe attack 1 ever had. I was confined to Mty room two months, and when I left it was scarcely able to walk, and not without the most severe pain. My lameness lasted from last October to tire Jane following. Having business in New York last February, I was there introduced to a gent email by the name of Thom is Hogan, who highly recommended Bristol's Sarsaparilla. He told me that he hud been confined to his bed eight mouths, with Rheumatism and Scrofula, and his phy- ; eiciaus hail given him up, as past recovery. He used fifteen bottles of Bristol’s Sarsajtarilla, and it «t- to this medicine alone that he attributed his present evis j teuce. f concluded to defer the trial until I returned to Hart- j ford, and again consulted my physician, w hose prescrip tion I followed until May, W ithout relief ] then bought Bristol’s Sarsaparilla of you, and continued taking itac- I cording to directions. 1 then visited New \ork again, : and was there introduced to Mr. Bristol, who advised [ me by ai! means to persevere- f called on twenty dis- j forent individuals of the first respectability, who had i been cured of all the ills that flesh is heir to, who all as- j tribute their restoration to health entirely to this invalu able medicine. With all this testimony, I continued till 1 bad taken sixteen butties, which has restored me to perfect health. I shall Ik* happy at any lime to give any one ail the information that f am possessed of, in rdfatd to this invaluable medicine, and confident y recommend it to ail who are afflicted with the diseases lor which il to recommended. Respectfully yours, S. L. MOORE. REMEMBER That Bristol’s Sarsaparilla is the only Original Me dicine, and that alt the various Sarsaparilla* that have •pruug up in the last few years are mere imitations.— Bristol’s was esumlished in 1832. In 1840 the proprie tors, at an unmen»e sacrifice, enlarged the bottles to a quart, thus offering to the afflicted a large quantity and a pure nrtic.e for the money than was ever before inher ed. These who buy Sarasjnirilla should be sure they are buying the genuine article. Ask. fur Butt roc's OttmiM ai. Bia»src*ii.Ls. Orders may be addressed to BARRETT, TARTER &. Mis Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy ed, his Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Jaw Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de scription of his case. Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole interior of his mouth, as well as most of his face, was a mas.- of deep and painful ulcers. On the 11th of January last, he commenced fa king Dr. Cullen's Indian Vegetable Panacea, which checked the disease in a few days, and from that time the cure has progressed without in'ermission. New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound and his general health is restored. We are assured that in the treatment of Mr. Brooks’case no Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic applications have been u-ed.—in fact, the Panacea al lie, has wrought this wonderful change. Phillip S. I rflO THE PUBLIC. —This preparation has fi_ acquired a very extended and established ce lebrity in most of the Southern States of the Union —both in the hands of Physicians and private use —which i;s efficacy alone has sustained for several years, as a remedy' for Scrofula or Kings s Evil Ulcerated Sore Throat, long standing Rheumatic Affection. Diseases of the Skin, old Sores, W hite Swellings, Diseases of the Bones, and all causes of an ulcerous character. It is also particularly use ful in chronic and nervous complaints occurring in debilitated and cachetic constitutions. Over Sy pbillis and the host of paiuiul, disagreeable and hitherto incurable affections resulting therefrom, such as Ulcers of the Throat, Larynx. Nodes. Xc.. and all those evils occasioned by an improper and injudicious use of ’‘mercur , ' it displays complete control. It has been fount to be a most usetul pu rifier of the blood in all sich diseases. in all complicated cases of Scrofula and Syphi lis, and in cases where the Syphilitic virus of the parent causes a development of Syphilis or Scro fula in the child, this is the only remedy upon which the hope of recovery can be reasonably founded, ft relieves the disease, and at the same time imparts vigor to the whole system—under the use of this medicine, the patient is enabled to take nourishing food, which in other practice is with held. In many cases where the horrible ravages ol disease have taken so deep root that patients have been given up by' he most skilful physicians, the disease has been arrested and the patient re stored to good health, &c., and the most reasona ble expectations fully satisfied. The cures performed iu this city alone, are •‘iiffi cient to establish its reputation on a permanent basis, and too solid to be effected either by the malignant or envi ois. It is worthy of note that the greater part of the patients cured, had previ ou-ly to using this preparation, recei'’"d the bes medical treatment and given up by- their Physi cians as being beyond the reach of medical >kilt. It is, however, advisable that it should be given, if practicable, under (he ii| erintenchence of a Phy sician, for him to prescribe such other remedies in conjunction with this, as the necessity' of the case may require. 'Phis preparation has put into the hand of Physicians a remedy, bv which they can master a variety of diseases, which have hilhertoo bathed the greatest skill and study.
