THIS remarkable invention, which has received the j almost universal approbation of the medical pro- t session of Great Bntaiu, comprises an entirely ucaa ap- j plication of Galvanism, as a remedial agent, by means of j which ll«e. ordinary Galvanic IJa teries, Electric and Mug- j netic Machines, «te., are entirely dispensed with, and the j mysterious powers of Galvanism applied without any i j ol the objections which arc inseparable from the genc j ral m >;le now i i use. The strong doses, and at irregn- ! j lar intervals, in which Galvanism Is applied by the Mi- 1 i chines, has bean pronounced, as era fair and impartial ! | trial, to be decidedly injukioos, aud it was tn remedy ( j tliis radical defect, that this new application was pro ; jea-ted, which after unceasing toil and perseverance, has i been brought to its present slate of perlection. The i i Galvanic Rings answer all the purposes of the most 1 | expensive M idiines, and in mmy other respects are I I more saec and certain in accomplishing the desired i j effect. Tiie Galvanic Rings, used in connection with the j Magnetic Fluid a e confidently recommended in all j D SOROERS which arise from an enfeebled OR UN- 1 I HEATHY STATE OF THE NERVOUS OR VITAL SYSTEM, ulld I these < oinpbunts are among the most painful au.i uni -1 versal to winch we are subject. They arise, without ex j ception, from one simple cause—a derangement of the Nervous system—and it was in these cutes that other t i “ remedies” having so often failed, a new agent was | greatly n viled, which it is confidently believed, has I been found in the proper and judicious application of 1 Galvanism. The Galvanic Kings have been used with entire sue- I ! cess in all cases of Rheumatism, acute or chronic, ap l plviug tothe he vd,f ice or limbs ; Gout, Tic-Doloreux ; Toothache, Bronchitis, Vertigo, Nervous or t*iuK ■ j Headache, Indigestion. Paralyses. Palsy. Epilepsy, | ! Fits, Cramp, Palpitation of the Heart, Appovlexy, ! Stiffness f Joints. Spinal Complaints, Kumbago, j Neuralgia. Nervous Tremors, Dizziness <>f the | Head Pains in the Chest and Side, General Debili ; tv, Deficiency of Nervous and Physical Energy, i and all Nervous Disorders, in cases of confirmed Dyspepsia, which is simply a nervous derangement of 1 the digestive organs, they have been found equally suc cessful. Their extraordinary effects upon ihe system 1 must he witnessed To be believed, and as a certain prr- 1 ventive for the preceding complaints they are, equal ly recommended. The Rings are of different prices, j being made of all sizes, and of various ornamental put t'-rns,aii(l can be worn by the inostdelicate female without the slightest inconvenience. In fact the sensation ia i rather agreeable than otherwise. The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Bands, tiarters, Necklaces, &c. ' In some cases of a very severe character and of long 1 standing, the power as applied by tiie Galvanic Rings is not sufficient to arresttbe progress of disease and ulti mately to restore health. The unproved modification in the Galvan c Belts, Bracelets, «!fcc., entirely reine | <Ues tnisobjection ; any degree of pow er that is required can readily he obtained, and no complaint w hich the mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect will fail to be permanently relieved. These articles are adapted to the waist, arms, wrists, limbs, ancles or any part of ihe body i with perfect convenience. The Galvanic Necklaces are used with creator benefit in rases of Bronchitis or j affections of the throat generally ; also in rases of Ner vous Deafness; mill with almost uniform success as a preventive for Apoplexy, Epileptic Fits, and similar I complaints. Christie’s Hasrtietic Fluid. Is issued in connection w ith the Galvanic Rings, and all rlieir modifications. This composition has been pro nounced by the French Chemists to he one of the most extraordinary discoveries of modern science. It is l»e --licvcd to possess a remarkable power of hknderihg i he Nerves seiisitive to Galvadic actioii, hy these means i causing a circulation of the influence at the scat of dis- ( j ease, and thus giving rapid and permanent relief. No other composition in clienpstry is known to produce the same effector to impart a similar property tothe nervous system by means of an outward local application. 'File I Maguetic Fluid contains nothing capanie of the slight- | est injury, its application is agreeable, aud iti.s harmless | in its action as it is beneficial in its result. Fuliexplana- I tions and directions accompany it. 'file combined in- j ventious are, in every way perfectly harmless; they are at prices within reach of all, and toe discoverer only re quests a fair trial, as a test of their surprising efficacy ' | and permanent benefit, Christie’s Galvanic Strengthening Bias* teis. These articles form another valuable application of ! the mysterious influence of Galvanism. They are an I important adjunct to the genuine Galvauic Ktncs aud • I their modifications, acting upon the same principle, but I j h i villi'this advantage of more local application. They ■ i are confidently recommended as a valuable addition in j ! the speedy cure of Rheumatism, acute or chronic ; in j l all nervous complaints, aud as a positive remedy in case* ! : of Fain ami VVeak..e>s i i the Chest or Back. Fain in the Side, in Asthm lic Affections, and in Weakness or Op- I I pressiuii of tun Pulmonary Organs. In Spinal Com- | j plaints; their effects are of the most decided character, j i and they have often been used with com pie t* success, j ! Thev are also of the greatest advantage in Pains and j I Weakness of the Breast, and are highly recommended j ‘ for many of those complaints to which females are j I especial ly liable. As an effectual means for strengthen- | i ing llie system when debilitated with disease or other ! ' causes; as a cei tain aid in Constitutional Weakness, as a ' ‘ Preventive for Colds and in all affections of the Chest generally the Galvanic Ftrenjftoening Plaster will he found of great and permauenlad vantage. Ina few words, it embraces all the virtues of the best tonic preparation with the important addition of the Galvanic influence, which is neither impaired or exhausted, while the action continues.
