City cutft County Rev. and Airs. \Y. C. Hahn are the proud parents of a fine baby boy. Dr. li. S. Malone returned from Hot Springs, Ark., about ten days ago. He has had very little to say of his trip. The new advertisements on the plate windows of Pearson Banking Company are very pretty —being useful as well as ornamental. It is stated that Dr. E. K. Averitt has become half interested in the business of Morris Drug Company, lie is held in high re gard in Pearson. Hon. and Mrs. Jeff Kirkland and son, Randolph, arrived at home Sunday morning from Henderson ville, N. C.. where they have been spending their summer vacation. There will be preaching service at the Antioch Baptist church on the fifth Sunday inst. by Elder Bugs, of Braxton. Everybody are invited to attend. Those having interest An tioch cemetery are notified that the annual cleaning up will occur next Wednesday, the 25th of Au gust. They are expected to help do the work. Man;.
