CHANGE IN SCHEDULES
Southern Not t’o Wait on A. C. L. at
Jesup.
The following issued by C. L. Can
dler General Agent of Hie Southern
railway will be of interest to the
people generally.
Heretofore the Southern railway
has been holding their 6,30 train at
Jesup every Sunday evening in order
to make connection with the Atlantic
Coast Line train leaving Savannah, at
5.30 p. in., for the accomodation, of
passengers going to Savannah, to
spend Sunday. It lias been found
that the arrangement is not satisfac
factory lo through passengers from
Washington and New York who are
compelled 1o lay over at Jesup about
three hours waiting on this connection.
For this reason the practice of hold- j
in,g this train at Jesup has been dis
ent iluted, and, hereafter, passengers
will have to leave Savannah at 2,30
p. m., in order (o make connection
with the' train arming' at Brunswick
at 6,50 p. m.
