RALPH BINGHAM LAST NIQHT
He Amused Quite a Crowd *t the
Grand,
Ralph Bingham, the noted lyceum
entertainer, was in Brunswick last
night and amused an audience at the
Grand. Mr. Bingham is touring under
the auspices of the Alkahest Lyceum
Association.
Ralph Bingham is probably without
tin equal in his line, and those pres
ent last night were certainly given an
evening of real pleasure. Mr. Bing
ham kept the audience interested dur
ing the entire time, and seldom has an
attraction been more thoroughly en
joyed.

or A COLO WAVE
MERCURY DROPPED TWENTY OR
Thirty points within a
FEW HOURS.
' \
The cold wave predicted Tuesday
arrived on schedule time yesterday,
causing the mercury to drop into the
fifties, with the prospect of a lower
temperature to-day.
The movement of the cold wave
eastward was rapid and reports in
dicated that it was the coldest of tne
season, being attended with considera
ble fail of temperature at manv
places.
In Bismarck and Miles City, Mon
tana, yesterday the temperature was
24 degrees, while Hfcpron, South
Dakota, reported 28 degrees. St
Paul had probably the largest fall oi
any place reported by the bureau,
getting a fall of 28 degrees, to a
reading of 32 degrees. Killing frost
is reported at many places in the
west, and light frost has occurred ai
points turther eastward, ’ihe cold is
intensified about the lakes by the
high winds, with a little rain, The
nrst snow of the season is reported
from Marquette, which is evidence
that winter is getting close at hanu.
Now that the fall season has Peon
