the cashier and both of you will
be given guest tickets to see any

This is merely an arrangement
towards good will and a form of

REA PROJECT ABOUT
READY TO SERVE
The Little Ocmulgte El.ctnc
Membership Corporation, to
serve Laurens, Telfair and
Wheeler counties, with office in
Alamo, has about completed the
final plans and will begin to func
tion in the very near future.
The office is managed by Mr.
J. W. Simmons, Jr., with Col. G.
L. Hatt way as attorney, and is
one of the largest enterprises in
the country.
REA has allotted $30,000 to
the Little Ocmulgee Electric
Membership Corporation, of
Alamo, to be re*lent to flnauc
individual members’ installations
of wiring and plumbin. The
cooperative will determine just
how the m mey will be available;
and, in general, the terms on
which it will be redend the
funds. REA requires, however,
that the individual notes shall
not finance more than 80 per cent
of the cost of any installation,
and t ie money must be repaid in
not moi e than live years. A
least two payments year must be
made.
Although the cooperative will
pay only 273 per cent on the
money owed, the rate to indivi
dual borrowers must be higher in
order to meet the expense of
collection, bookkeeping, and sc
on. REA suggests that individual
notes be made at 6 per cent an
nual interest on the unpaid
balance.
