1. The subscription drive is open to any resident of Teltair or Wheel
er, or nearby sections of adjoining conntics, execept ecmployees ol
these newspapers and their immediate familios. -~
2. Workers can sell both newspapers anywhere, or a combination of
both papers as ontlined in the vote schedule printed in this issue.
Kvery subscription will count a certain number of votes, and these
votes together with credits from coupons clipped from these news
papers will be the sole basis in deciding the winners,
3. Votes cannot be pooled or pirchased. Cash must accompany all
subseriptions where votes are issued.
4. Each contestant will be an authorized subscription agent and as
such may obtain subseriptions from present as well as new subserib
ers. Kach worker will be held responsible for money collected, saud
sums to be turned over to to the campaign manager at least once
each week.
5. Conteistants are not restricted as to territory. They may seli hoth
papers anywhere, and also have as many friends as they wish work
ing in their behalf,

second payment will receive vofes as per the vote schedtle in torce
when the first pavment was mbide. Extensions do not newessarily :
have to be secured by #he same contestant who secured the original

7. No agreements or promises either written or oral, made by ag
ents or solicitors other than those printed in this paper will be rec.
ognized. Any questions or controversies that may arvise will he set
tled by the campaign manager and his decision will he final.
8. Prizes will he delivered to winners just as soon as the records
have been audited and when the officials have announced the win
ners. These rsults will be final and conclusive. In case of a tie, the
prizes of identical value will be given.
9. The publishers and the campaign manager reserve the right to
place additional prizes in the list, giving extra votes for special work,
to correct any typographical evrors, and to rejeet any nomination of
any undesirable person in the campaign.
10. Any collusion on the part of contestants, spreading of false ru
mors to nullify competition or anything else detrimental to this eam
paign will not be tolerated and any contestants so doing will forfeit
all rights tol a prize or commission.
11. This newspaper reserves the right to include commercial cards
in the campaign if so desired oen which proportionate votes will be
allowed, based on the subscription vote schedule printed teday. In ac
cepting entrance in this subseription campaign contestants agsec to
abide by all the foregoing rules and conditions.
