“Dr. A- M. M.uriceau : Had I known ol the im
portant matters treated of in ‘The Married Woman'e
Private Medical Companion’ nine years ago, how
much misery I might have escaped ! I have suffered
years from causes which you poiut out in your book,
without knowing what t*i do. I obtained a copy, and
found my case treated of. I trust every female will
avail herself of tbe information contained in it* pages.”
Letter* are daily received of tbit obaracter, unne

To thoee yet -unmarried, bat contemplating mar
riage, or perhaps hesitating as to the propriety of
inodrring the responsibilities attendant upon it, the
importance of being possessed of the revelations con
tained In thcee pages, eo intimately involving their
fotnre happiness, eta not be appreciated.
It is, of eonrto, impracticable to convey more fully
the various subjects treated of, ss they are of a na
ture strictly Intended for the married, or tltoso con
templating marriage; neither is it neccsaarv, since
It it every ono't duty to become possessed of knowl
edge whereby the sufferings to which a wife, a motb
ar. or a sister, may be subject, can he obviated.
