bales ; levied on as the property of
Thomas Carter, deed, to fatisfy an
execution in favor of Richardson
Hunt, and Nancy, his wife. Pro
perty pointed out by the admrs. of

James Carter.
Onr negro man, named Peter,
about 40 years old ; levied on as
the property of Elizabeth Whit
man to ttatify an execution in fa
vor of Thomas Napier, indorfee,
vs- William and Elizabeth Whit
man : said negro pointed out by
and in the poffeflion of the defen
dants.
One small bay horse ; levied on
as the property of Robert Rice,“at
the inftt nee of Thomas Oliver and
others—laid horse pointed out by
the plaintiff, and in the poffeflion of
Capt Chifolm.
One negro woman, named Mil
ley, 30 years old j levied on as the
property of Zachariah Smith, to
fatisfy sundry executions, (in the
poffeflion of and pointed out by
the defendant ;) levied on and re
turned to me, by John Childers,

carpenter by trade, about 50 years
of age : he speaks very flow and
diftintl when spoken to ; is very
artful. He formerly belonged to
Mr Mills, of Wilkes county, and
from whom he was purchased. It
is probable he will visit the planta
tion of Abraham Simons, Elqr. of
the aforefaid county.
The above reward, and all rea
sonable charges, will be paid for

i State—All persons are cautioned
not harbor him, under the penalty
