Layton Maddox, and the crowds increased daily until the capacity of the new church build ing w;us taxed to accommodate them. A d !t-p religious feeling was stirred throughout the entire town and many professed conversion. 28 were added to the Baptist church of which number ii were by letter and 22 by profession of faith. On Sunday night the ordinance of Baptism was administered by the pastor in tiie presence of a large con gregation. Bald tagle Shot and Captured- Last Saturday Mr. Aha Reese who resides near Pine Grove Church in this county shot and captured a genuine Bald Eagle. The bird was shot in one wing and otherwise was uninjured, lie measured 7 f eet from tip to iip and was a splendid specimen. It is sup posed that lie was brought into this section by the recent storms. Mrs■ Neal s Picnic Take CARDUI A picnic was given on last Tuesday night al Boneville, by Mrs John L.
