That they desire for them selves, their associates and sucres sors to be incorporated for the fun period of twenty f20) years, with the privilege of n .. wal, under the name and style of THE LULLWATER MANUFAC TURING COMPANY. 2. That the principal office and place of business shall be in McDuffie County, but that they desire the privilege of having other offices and places of business in such places in or out of the State of Georgia as may be determined by the directors. 3. That the capital stock of said Company shall be Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00-, all of which shall be common stock; the privilege is desired, however, of in creasing said capital stock at any time upon the approval of a major ity of the then outstanding capital stock to any amount not exceeding Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00). Such additional stock, if issued, may he either common or preferred stock, as may be'determined by the by-laws of said corporation, which by-laws may fix the terms and extent of pre ference in the event the stock is pre ferred. 4. The object of said corporation is pecuniary gain to the stockhold ers, and the business proposed to be carried on is that of owning, main taining and operating cotton mills and such other manufacturing estab lishments as may pc determined from tiipc to time by the stockhold ers of said corporation. 5. Petitioners desire for said cor poration the right to buy, own, lease, improve and sell real estate; the right to borrow money, issue bonds or notes and secure the same by mortgages or deeds of trust on its real estate, or by pledge or personal property; to make any and all man ner of contracts that may be inci dental to or proper in the business of buying cotton, wool, yarns, cloth, or other raw produts or partially manufactured material, and in man ufacturing the same or in complet ing the manufacture thereof into yarns, cloth, garments or other pro ducts, finished or unfinished, selling or otherwise disposing of the manu factured product at any stage of its manufacture; operating bleacheries or dye plants; owning, erecting, and maintaining mill towns or homes for mill operatives, .including such schools, infirmaries, recreation cen ters or other, agencies or instrumen talities for the welfare of its opera tives as may be determined upon by the stockholders. WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to be incorporated under the name and style aforesaid, with all the rights and privileges above natned, together with all of the common powers given by the laws of the State of Georgia to similar corpora tions. By virtue of an order from the Court of Ordinary of Bibb County, Georgia, there will be sold, at public outcry, on the first Tuesday in Feb ruary, 1924, at the court house door of McDuffie County, Georgia, between the legal hours of sale, the following described property, to-wit: , That tract of land in the 133rd District of McDuffie County, Geor gia, containing seventy (70) acres, more or less, located on the head waters of Kiokee Creek, bounded North by lands of John E. Smith; East by lands formerly of Crissie Crawford and Willis Howard; South by lands of Willis Howard Estate; West by lands formerly belonging to Jno. Harris, being the same tract conveyed by Mrs. Celeste Haywood, Administratrix of the Estate of Sep. T. Watson, on the 7th day of March, 1911. Also that other tract of land locat ed in said 133rd District, C. M., of McDuffie County, Georgia, containing forty (40) acres, more or less, bound ed North by lands of P. E. Harris; the Milledgeville Road intervening; East by lands of J. D. Howard; South and West by lands of J. S. Harris, and being the land upon which is lo cated the old John Harris residence, and being a part of the division of the lands John Harris, who willed it to his son, Jack Harris, for life,and afterwards to his children.
