For boatmen who want to
get to the bottom of things, a
modern antifouling paint
combats barnacles and keeps
boat bottoms completely free
of growth.
The paint, ‘‘Super Dripless
No. 8,” was introduced last
year by the 103-year-old
Chilton Paint Company of
College Point, New York. The
product was readily accepted
by boat owners looking for
something special in bottom
protection.
“To date,” informs a
company spokesman, “we have
been called upon only twice to
back our guarantee. A small
percentage of boat owners will
not apply the paint according
to label directions. But we are
receiving an encouraging
number of letters from
satisfied customers, praising
the product’s antifouling
properties.”

Georgia Firms Among First
To Order New Computer System
ATLANTA (PRN) — A number of companies in Georgia are
among the first in the country to order a small computer system
just announced by IBM.
Called the IBM System/3, the new computer uses a new kind
of punched card. Although it is only about one third as large as
the standard computer card, it holds 20 per cent more
information. The data processing system is compact and
adaptable for use by a wide variety of organizations.
“IBM designed System/3 to
meet the needs of growing
businesses,” said L.D.
McEwing, manager of IBM’s
Southeastern sales district.
“And the response from firms
in Georgia indicates that this
product has met a real need in
the data processing field.”
Exemplifying the system’s
versatility are the many kinds
of businesses represented in
the initial wave of orders for
the new equipment.
In Atlanta, the first firms to
order the system include
Sunbrand Corporation, an
industrial machinery
manufacturer; Southeastern
Personnel, Inc.; International
Consolidated, Inc., a food
processor; Paradies & Co., a
U wholesale hardgoods
g distributor; Hix Green Buick
U Co., an automobile dealer;
Ji Apex Supply Co., a plumbing
and heating supply wholesaler;
People’s financial Corp., an
automotive financing concern:
Advance Industrial Security, a
private watch service; and
Chattahoochee Brick Co., a
building materials
manufacturer.
Elsewhere in the state, early
orders have been placed by
Derst Baking Co. and Haile
Tobacco Co., both in
Savannah; H. & R. Block Co.,
a tax consultant in Brunswick;

Not once did we entice a

In the distance, a dove cooed

Now, I like to catch fish as
well as the riext gUy. Yet, I
never count as a loss, a trip
that fails to produce fish. You
can’t catch ‘em all the time,
but you can enjoy and benefit
from every trip you take in
the outdoors.
You learn something about
nature every time out, though
you don’t always realize it
right away. If nothing more,
you learn again how to
appreciate the peace and quiet
of the seclusion of an
out-of-the-way place. You
have time to meditate and
contemplate, and fit yourself
into the overall scheme of
things.
If it weren’t for such
opportunities to find peace
and relaxation, I guess I
wouldn’t be able to stand
regular routines.
Let us hope we’ll always
have a place to go fishing, in
quiet, clean unpolluted waters.
Or sit in a peaceful forest on a
tree stand looking for that big
buck to go by . . .or walk
through a meadow in search
for quail. May we always have
the privilege of bearing
firearms and of partaking from
nature’s store.
Perhaps on those quiet
days, we benefit most of all
from our trips afield.

The Reds raked Niekro for
