NEEL BROS m Thomasville, Broad and Jackson - Streets, Georgia, “REVOLUTIONIZED THE MYSTIC ART” To anyone Interested in Shorthand: It is a source of genuine pleasure to me to speak this word for Byrne Simplified Shorthand. After 15 years experience with the old systems of shorthand, both as a teacher and stenographer, I was fortunate enough to come in touch wieh Byrne Short¬ hand about a year ago. Thirty min¬ utes’ examination of the text book convinced me that Mr. Byrne had not only improved, hut “Revolution¬ ized the Mystic Art.” I set to work at once to master the Byrne, which I succeeded in doing in ten days, and with a few weeks’ practice du¬ ring spare moments, obtained fair speed. On Oct. 1, 1906, I enrolled in the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for a course of lectures, which I have since been taking, re¬ porting same verbatim in shorthand. Anyone knows -that theological re¬ porting is the most difficult kind of matter to take because of the number and variety of long and technical terms and in proper names peculiar to the Bible. In this work I have never found anything that gave me trouble to write. Thanks to the marvelous principles discovered by Prof. Byrne. I write out these long hard names in outlines which are short and made up of few stroks. I never was able to make in the old systems after 15 years of practice. I gave it as my judgment that three points of superiority must be given to Byrne as compared to any other system now before the public, viz: Simplicity, Legibility and Speed. You can learn it quicker, and when you get it you have the best. Byrne is right there with the goods. If these words shall be the means of in¬ ducing any ambitious young man or woman contemplating a business education to save himself the long, hard and expensive process of mas¬ tering one of the old complicated systems, by a few weeks study of the Byrne, I shall be gratified in the con¬ sciousness that I have conferred a real favor on a fellow being. You will find the Byrne one short cut that leads to the goal. Take this route and get the goods, while the other fellow who thinks an old thing is necessarily a good thing, goes around and gets left. I will, with pleasure take the time to explain in detail the merits of the Byrne and prove to any fair minded investigator that it is the easiest learned, the easiest read and the most rapidly written system ever devised, if he will write me, enclosing stamp or self addressed envelope with for reply. the I have no con¬ nection Byrue Business Colleges, and help write this purely with a desrire to any ambitious fel¬ low being.
