Fish Fry.
Misses Margaret and Christine
Turner entertained their guests,
Misses Bess and Runette Benton,
with a “Fish Fry” at Joiner’s
pond Thursday evening.
Mesdatnes H. W. Young and
John Monaghan chaperoned.

nes Daniel and Miss Allie Belle
Redmond were joint hostesses to
the Y. W. A’s. at the home of
Miss Redmond. There were ten
young ladies present.
A very interesting program on
“Listening in on Africa” was con¬
ducted by Miss Willery Taylor.
After the program delicious saud

The uext meeting will be held
with Miss Toy Crawford and Miss
Louise Rawls at the home of Miss
Toy Crawford, the first Tuesday

Mrs. G. P. Donaldson, who has
been the honor guest at a series cf
parties, was entertained Tuesday
afternoon by Mrs. John Monag
han, at a lovely bridge party.
The house was effectively deco¬
rated with bright colored Zinnias
As the guests arrived they were
served punch on the porch by
Miss Amy Twitty.
After the games a dainty salad
course with tea was served.
Mrs. Rosabelle Akridge won top
score prize, a compact, and Mrs
Donaldson was presented with a
dainty piece of china.
Mesdames H. W. Young, and
D, L. Turner assisted Mrs. Mona
ghau in entertaining. About
twenty five guests were present.
Miss Marshall Entertains
For Visitors
The visitors in town were honor¬
ed with a lovely bridge party
Wednesday morning, given by
Miss Dana Key Marshall.
The porch and living room,
where guests were received, were
artistically decorated with shasta
daisies and browu eyed susans.
After the games a delicious salad
course was served by the hostess
who was assisted iu entertaining
by her mother, Mrs. B. K. Mar¬
shall, and Miss Christine Turner.
About twenty guests were pres¬
ent. Mrs. G. P. Donaldson made
top score and was presented with
a lovely box of powder.
High School Set Entertained
Miss Elizabeth Hilliard was hos¬
tess to eight girls of the high
school set at a pretty liile Bridge
party Wednesday morning,
After the games a refreshing
salad course was served.
