Final judging is in tume to the tune evening dresses. Miss Harrison, who is sponsored by the Acworth Jaycees is the only contestant from Cobb County in the Beauty Pageant title will travel to Mobile later to compete Winner of th in the Junior Miss America pageant. Another Crown? COACHES AND CO-CAPTAINS DISCUSS STRATEGY Head Coach Al Matthews, Co-captain Bobby Williams and Jerry Corbin, Coach Emory Sewell Play-off Game Slated Friday Scores of persons from the North Cobb area are expected to travel to the neutral site of Manchester, Friday night to cheer on the North Cobb War riors as they battle Fort Val ley for the Region 3-B cham pionship. At stake in the game, besides the 3-B laurels, is a crack at the North Georgia Championship with the winner of Region 4-B. If the Warriors win, this game would be played on North Cobb’s home field. Pollsters across the state have given the nod to undefeated Fort Valley but several factors may put the all-important tilt into the a more-than-even catagory, according to local fans. The factors listed were: A number of seniors on the team will be seeing their high school playing days come to an end and will be going all out for the win. North Cobb just finished the scheduled season last week and are in playing condition, while Fort Valley was idle this week and just started practice for the important game this week. The Warriors are not strang ers to the championship columns. They now have the 3-B North title tucked away in their pock ets and the school has two other region titles to their credit since 1957. Good Condition Coach Al Matthews has re- ported that his team is in good mental and physical condition for the contest. The spirit of the entire school which will be urging them on is also good, according to school officials. The team will leave the school at 1:30 p.m. Friday by chartered bus, and will arrive in Man chester in time for a 5 p.m. pre-game meal.
