mips of sugar, one-half oup of butter,
one cup of warm water, one cracker
pounded fine, rind and juice of ono
lemon ; bake with an upper and under
crust. Tins should make two pies.
Ilaißo Arrus Pua—Take a teacup
tvSo-tlunla full of mashed apples, one
egg, l>eat together three minutes, then
athl one cupful of sweet cream, and
sugar to taste, and beat two minutee.
Thia makes one pie. Bake with two
crusts. The apples must be oold.
Rica WaWLae.—Beat together a pint
of milk, the yelks of three eggs, two
ounces of butter and half a teaouj> of
thoroughly boiled noe, sprinkle a little
salt and a half teaapoonful of soda into a
pint of flour, and then sift it in. Beat
thoroughly and bake in woffle irons.
Nice Oiucks* Pcddixo.—Four com
mon crackers rolled fine, one pint of
milk, the yelks of two eggs, two table
spoonfuls of white sugar, ono cup of
raisins and a little salt and nutmeg
Take the whites of the eggs and a cup
of white sugar, beat to a froth, place
thia on top, after the pudding has
baked, and bake a while longer.
Faxvca Cau. One and one-half
cups of sugar, three-fourths cup of but
ter, one-half cup of sweet milk, two
cups of flour, the yelks of eight eggs,
one-half teaapoonful of cream of tartar
one-fourth teaapoonful of soda and one
cup of currants or chopped raisins
Bake in a long, narrow tin, and when
done turn over and frost ths under side.

core apples enough to fill your pudding
dish, fill each apple with sugar, a little
cinnamon, and a small piece of butter.
Bosk one cup of tapioca ia three cups
of (toiling water four or five hours ; take
three eggs, a pint of milk, a little sugar,
and mix with the soaked tapioca ; pour
this over the apples, aad bake.

coffee cup of flour, one pound of brown
sugar, one ami one-eighth pounds of
butter, one-half pound of candied citron,
