PAGE 2B THE BANKS COUNTY NEWS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2013 Victory in the field After 2 forfeited victories, Leopards earn a win against Cedar Shoals BY RANDY CRUMP On Saturday April 6, the Banks County Junior Varsity Leopard Baseball Team earned their first “on field” victory of the season beating Cedar Shoals 15-0. Earlier in the week, Banks County’s JV team picked up two victories via forfeits from East Jackson after they disbanded their JV baseball program. For the Leopards, freshman Taylor Boisclair threw a four inning no-hitter in the rout of Cedar Shoals. Of the 12 outs recorded, Boisclair got the out himself by striking out nine Cedar Shoals batters. The Leopards were led at the plate by Dustin Ledford, Ethan Banks and Taylor Boisclair who each had doubles in the nine hit attack.
