Banks Public Library events include Tech Tuesday, sewing club
Events coming up in May at the Banks County
Public Library include the following:
•May 2, Tech Thursday, 10 a.m., 1 p.m. or 6
p.m., Job Accelerator: Learn to write a resume,
cover letter or search for a job.
• May 4, crafting at the library, 10 a.m., Mother’s
Day craft.
• May 5- 11, Teacher Appreciation Week, draw,
write a poem/story/letter, or make something to
tell about your special teacher. That teacher will be
entered to win a prize package. All items will be
on display at the library during the month of May.
• May 7, Teacher Appreciation at the library day.
Teachers drop by the library for a special thank
you reception from 4-6 p.m. Parents and kids are
invited to attend to honor the teachers of Banks
County.
•May 12- 18. Children’s Book Week/Clifford
Week. Contact the library for special activities.
•May 6, 2 p.m., Clifford will visit the library.
Come join in the fun!
•May 25, painting with Brenda, 10 a.m., full
sized painting, 3 p.m., 8 x 10 painting.
• May 27, closed.
