SCARCITY OF EGG*.
Tee Effect Has Been to Run the Price
Wav Up,
Since the scarcity in the egg market,
nrices have lumped starply, and are
do* around the too notch. The market
seemed firm yesterday at 18 to 20 cents
for first class candled stock, and the
stock to pick from was limited. It is
estimated there were probably no’, over
a dozen casee of in a 1 Uanth dur
ing the day.
There is ordinarily a large demand
for eggs in the local market, and when
a scarcity o mes it is attended with a
juain in the price Unless supplies come
from Tennessee or some other market,
the chances are present prices will be ,
maintained
The reneip’s yesterday were small, and
what came were not in satisfactory con
dition, due to the warm weather. Know
ing the rt-k of loss on account of the
weather, shippers will be slow to con
sign .took.
Conditions never favor a continuance
of a • corner” long, however, and the
chances are the market will soon be
abundantly supplied.

QUESTIONS ANWERED.
_ Yes, August Flower still has tbe
largest sate ol any medicine in the civ
ilized world. Your mothers and grand
mothers never thought of usintr any
thing else for tndigesilon or bilious
ness. Doctors were scarce and they
seldom heard of apendteitis, nervous
prostration, lean failure, etc. They
used August Flower to ciean out the
system and stop fermentation of undi
gested food, reguiate tbe action of the
liver, stimulate the action of the ner
vous and organic system, and that !p
all they took when feeling null and bad
with headache and other aches. You
