•SCHOOL CONTEST.
Supreme Court Decides Pupils May
Be Expelled.
A dsoision was banded down by tbe
Supreme eourt several days ago that
will be of interest to almost everyone.
The case was that of William Brad

a pupil was expelled from the school
for refuting to enter Into a debate
when be waa instructed to do eo. Mr.
Bradford argued that a task kal been
put before the child that was beyond
its years, and he would not uphold the
doing of the lack .
When tbs pupil wae expelled for re
futing to comply, Bradford entered
suit, and the court has just deeded in
favor of the school.
In the decision, it i* declared that
the au’bouMea of a public echool have
& right to make composition writing
end db*ting r part of m count, and
that it ie for those au'horities, and not
the ciurt 1 , to deride what composi
tions and what d-bab-e arc suited to
the age of a pupil, and that If the pu
pil refused to do na he i3 instructed,
my proper punishment may be infliot
*d upon him.

The liability to disease ia greatly
lessened when the blood ia in good con

is promptly carried out of the system;
otherwise it would rapidly accumulate
fermentation would take place, the
