All the buildings along both sides of

breadth, are gaily decorated. Thous-

this water-way, and when lighted will
present an imposing spectacle. Grand
services were held in the mosques and
temples and will continue tonight. This
afternoon a magnificent banquet is

nities in the world are present, includ

the rulers of the Balkan states.
The sultan intends also to inaugurate
some great works for the public good.
