Brunswick will soon hare a Chamber of
Commerce, as a movement In this di
rection was made yesterday.
The following paper was circulated
among the business men, and some
thing in the neighborhood of a hundred
affixed their names:
Brunswick, Ga., Sept. 4,1000.
The undersigned citizens of Bruns,
wick and Glynn county, Ga., knowing
that the organization'and maintenance
of a Board of Trade dr a Chamber of
Commerce will vreatly add to the wel<
fare aud stimulate the material advance
ment of our common citizenship, here
by band ourselves together for united
action to the accomplishment of this
end. Whether the title of said body
shall be Board of Trade or Chamber oi
Commerce shall be determined by a ma
lority of us at the first meeting. We

tended, and the topics to be discussed
