DIED FROM DEW POISON.
The Death of a Former Brunewlckian
at Mt, Pleasant.
A sad story has reached this city of
the death of Mr. A. S. Owen's at Mt.
Pleasant, a station on the Southern
Railway, 25 mUe|Jrom Brunswick,
Mr, Owens bad been ill for seyeral
days, and while some of hlB relatives
claim that his death was caused from a
snake bite, the attending physicians
say that bis death was caused from dew
poison, lie had a small eore on bis
nand, and, it is thought while be was at
work early In the moaning, dew must
have fallen In the sore. His arm and
side wero badly swollen at the time of
his death,
Mr. Owens resided in Brunswick for
years and has many friends in the
city. He leaves a wife and three small
girls, lie is a brother to Messrs. A. Ik
and J, W. Owens,the well known olti
eecs of Brunswick.
The iuneral will ooour at Mt. Pleas
ant this morning.

writes: “My little hoy was very low
with pneumonia. Unknown to the
