'Dial seems to be the watchwonn
of the Glynn Gun Club.
To morrow night at 7:30 o'clock
the select team from Georgia’s
champions will leave over the Bruns
wick and Western for Jacksonville.
The club had a long ’practice yester
day afternoon and is practicing this
afternoon.
The most formidable rivals of the
Glynns will be the Forest City Gun
Club, of Savannah, and result is
looked forward to with interest.
Will Arrive This Afternoon.
The Post announced yesterday that
Tratlic Manager Whitney, of the
Merchants anil Miners' transporta
tion company, would arrive in Bruns
wick next Saturday.
Late yesterday afternoon Ms. S C.
Davis received a telegram from Mr.
Whitney, dated at Savannah and
conveying the information that he
would reach Brunswick this after
noon. The committee appointed
from the Merchants and Traders
Protective Association has been no j
tilled of.Mr. Whitney, expected ar
rival andwill be at the depot to meet |
and entertain that gentleman.
