Permar Just as Glynn Comity has been working on a tree protection ordinance for several years, the City of Bruns wick’s Park and Tree Board (P&TB) has been developing their version of a tree ordinance for over a year as well. “We’ve been working on our ordi nance in some form or another for over nances for different areas.” “We know there are a lot of issues that will have to be decided,” explained Chilton, “and we still have not decided on whether to make this an ordinance for trees on public property only or if we should recommend that the city commission have it apply to trees on Displaying the banner signifying Brunswick's re-attainment of Tree City USA status from the Arbor Day Foundation last week were: Rusi Patel, Assistant City Attorney; Park and Tree Board (P&TB) member Michael lacomini; P&TB chairman Nick Chilton; P&TB member Sandy Turbidy and Brunswick Mayor Brian Thompson. It is an important asset to protect, this kind of tree cover. Very few cities have it. Correll for whom the new teen center is named. The window will be installed in the building's tower where it will be back lit and visible from nearby SPUR 25. The teen center will include a full restaurant, digital lab and learning cen ter, theater, college training classroom, movies, guest speakers, a full gym with a stage for dances and concerts, an arts studio for all visual arts and outdoor athletic fields.
