So far the CJCLDS’s partners include: the Boy Scouts, Brunswick Kiwanis Club, United Com munity Bank, Ameris Bank, Griffis Steel Co., College of Coastal Georgia, Internal Revenue Service, Watermarks Printing, Sea Island Credit Union, Zion Rock Missionary Baptist Church, Geor gia Power Co., Glynn Comity Sheriffs Dept., Brunswick Police Dept, and Christ Church of the Last Days. The groups are requesting non-per ishable foods only in the four basic food groups so families can be provided with an entire meal. Leo Cornelius from St. Mary's was carrying the flag that he has flown since his son escaped the north tower of the Twin Towers on 9/11. "He was on the 65th floor," Cornelius said. "And it took him about 50 minutes to get out of the building. Thirty minutes later the building fell." "I did the math," said Annette Mal lard of Brunswick. Her poster showed $787 billion stimulus divided by the U.S. population of 303 million equals $2.6 million per person. It was a family affair for Kyle, Kate- lyn and Keaton Patterson and their mom Kim. Kyle's sign read "I'm only six and I'm already $36,000 in debt." Katelyn wants government's hands "out of my piggy bank." And Keaton says that "my parents taught me steal ing is wrong, someone ought to teach Congress." Louann Silva wants to "lay off con gress."
